Victimisation

Nearly 3 weeks ago, 28 year old Imrana was allegedly raped by her father-in-law Mohammad Ali. This is the most latest case that has caught the head lines of the media. She was raped once by her father-in-law, but the ordeal did not stop there. She was again victimised by Muslim law and now continuously attacked by the media. Why is this ordeal?
Didn't the Women organization fighting for the cause of such victims realise it?

If you think i am over reacting by saying so, then, type Imrana in the google search and see it for yourself. I beleive there should be some kind of restraint in publishing such news items.

Should i blame the media alone, certainly not. If i do so, then the 'honest politicians' of this nation would crucify me. The political outfits, from regional to national parties are pulling out various cards to please their vote bank. In this blame game, the victim is lost.

In the whole episode, the muslim community leaders certainly had their share of role. Even here the muslim law overrode the sentiments of the individual. The most important question that still had to be answered by them is, What comes first, Religious sentiments or Individual sentiments?..........

What is the solution to such Victimisation......
